Overview:

The Egyptian Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Greater Cairo Department, main objective is to carryout necessary urban & archaeological studies and to propose upgrade programs for El Helmiya District that defined by the area between Saiyeda Zainab Square, Al Kalaa Square and Al Azhar Road. 
The works included  survey of urban fabric and buildings, assessment of main urban features and buildings of historical value and propose plans for the upgrade of urban environment and preservation of urban and architectural constituents.
